We have an update on the Dibble fire earlier this week from Pat, who lives on the same street: “The tenants were five young people, SPU students mostly. They weren’t home when the fire started, so were not injured, but they’ve lost everything in the fire, including a dog, a rabbit, and a cat. The Red Cross has put them up for a couple of weeks in temporary lodging and given them money for groceries. They’re OK, even in pretty good spirits, considering what they’ve been through, and they’re looking for another place to live.” Pat also thanks the Seattle Fire Department and the Red Cross for being very professional and considerate with the tenants.
