Ballard Beer Company submits liquor license application for Market St space

photo 2 (2)Market St may just be set to welcome another bar to its ranks. According to a sign posted on the door of the former La Tienda space (2025 NW Market St), Ballard Beer Company has applied for a liquor license for the premises.

The sign (pictured) is dated February 20 and announces the application for a liquor license for the category “tavern – beer; off premises”.

According to the Washington State Liquor Control Board website, the licensees who submitted the application are Lena and Greg Anderson.

  1. “Ballard Beer Company”. So here’s my idea, see: a bar… that sells beer from every Ballard brewery! And nothing else. This would be a good name for that.

    Although, I don’t know, maybe that would actually end up picking the pockets of the breweries, because they make a lot more from sales at their brewpubs. Maybe you could get all the Old Standbys at this place but you’d have to go to the breweries for the weird stuff. Yeah. Do that, anonymous entrepreneur!
