Northwest Market Street will be closed between Greenwood Avenue North and Third Avenue Northwest for the final two weekends of the month, as Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) paving crews replace broken concrete panels on the stretch.
Weather permitting, the street will be closed from Saturday at 7 a.m. until Sunday at 7 p.m. on July 19-20 and 26-27.
For drivers looking to pass through the area, eastbound traffic on Northwest Market Street will be detoured to North 39th Street, while westbound traffic will be detoured to North 39th Street or to North 65th Street (via North 50th Street and Phinney Avenue North). Trucks will be detoured to North 85th Street.
