28th Avenue Northwest will be reduced to one lane for two days next week, as Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) crews grind and pave a stretch of the road between Northwest 90th Street and Northwest 93rd Street.
Weather permitting, SDOT will pave the stretch on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15, with crews working from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
One lane will remain open on the stretch, shared by alternating directions of traffic. Traffic flaggers will be on site assisting drivers during the paving work.
The work on 28th Avenue Northwest comes as local drivers are trying to navigate lane closures and traffic reconfigurations on Holman Road Northwest between Northwest 87th Street and 8th Avenue Northwest.
