To celebrate their third decade in business, Ballard-based Annie’s Nannies (2236 NW 58th St Suite 101) is putting out the call to all current and former employees, along with those who have used their services (whether as a parent or a child) to join them for a large family photo this Thursday afternoon.

“I want to take a photo with as many of the families, nannies and staff members connected to our business as I can,” said Annie Davis, founder of Annie’s Nannies, who now runs the business with her daughter, Suzanne Rover-McCone.

The family photo will take place at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, in Woodland Park’s shelter 5 (1000 N 50th Street), with a kid-friendly picnic lunch, goody bags, balloon animals, reunions and Goofy Gideon the Magician all part of the festivities.

“We throw a summer picnic for our nannies and their charges, but this year is special,” said Royer-McCone in a press release. “We want to celebrate our 30th with all the people who are important to us.”

Annie’s was founded in 1984, and is the Northwest’s longest-serving household staffing agency. In 2009, the agency won a Mayor’s Small Business Award. In April, Annie’s announced they would begin offering a $15 minimum wage to all employees, well before the city’s new law goes into effect.
