The Irish Tenors Holiday Concert at Benaroya Hall next Tuesday, December 16, from 7:30 p.m. is set to benefit Ballard Senior Center.
During the concert audience members will enjoy both holiday and traditional Irish music sung by the world-renowned tenors Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, and Ronan Tynan backed by a full orchestra.
The Irish Tenors are ranked as Ireland’s premier ambassadors of song. The trio has been touring together since 1998, with sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world.
Their faces and voices are also familiar to PBS audiences through several specials, including “Ellis Island” that sold a million CDs and DVDs.
Proceeds from the concert benefit both the Ballard NW Senior Center and five other senior centers affiliated with Senior Services.
Ticket prices range from $47 to $152. Tickets can be purchased at the Benaroya Box Office (corner of 3rd Ave & Union St), online or by calling (206) 215-4747.
