Some of our friends call Whole Foods by the nickname, “Whole Paycheck,” for its expensive high-quality foods. And in a down economy, that’s not a good thing. The grocery chain says its net income has plummeted 30 percent, and it’s planning to scale back on new stores. But don’t fear: the store that’s under construction along 15th Ave. in Interbay is still moving ahead. Whole Foods has not announced an opening date yet.
