Learn the basics of car care and maintenance when The Seattle Public Library hosts a local mechanic at a few library locations this August. Mark your calendars now for the event at The Ballard Branch (5614 22nd Ave. N.W.) on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The free workshop is open to the public, and will take place in the parking lots of each Library branch. Registration is not required and free parking is available at the branches.
If you can’t make it a few weekends from now, you can drive up north tomorrow, Aug. 1 for the workshop at the Northgate Branch (10548 Fifth Ave. N.E.) from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information or for additional dates and locations, call the Library at 206-386-4636 or ask a Librarian.
