The knitting community makes warmers for the homeless this Friday, August 14 at Bauhaus Coffee (2001 NW Market Street) from 7 p.m.– 9 p.m.
Jody Grage is leads the Ballard Knitters for the Homeless in knitting simple hats and scarves for community members who do not have a warm home. Grage will teach easy, pretty patterns and walk you through your project.
“Learn to knit or learn new knitting skills. If you have yarn and needles, please bring some for yourself and some to share. No prior experience necessary,” says the group Ballard Knitters for the Homeless.
The meet-up repeats every second Friday.
