Even though school has been delayed due to the teacher strike, we thought we’d look back at Ballard schools of yesteryear for this week’s Throwback Thursday.

The students are posed outside the school building with their teacher, located at th24th Avenue NW and NW Market Street. A name, “Edward Hansen”, is handwritten on the back of one photo, according to the Ballard Historical Society.
