As the My Ballard team reported back in March, Ballard is set to have another delicious eater in the form of Mean Sandwich this Fall.
The new eatery is owned by New York restaurant power couple Alex and Kevin Pemoulie and is set to have a “consistent core sandwich menu that people can rely on,” plus specials that will rotate seasonally.
“We’ve spent the last year fine tuning what we believe to be most the delicious, fun, and unique sandwiches that we could come up with. We are inspired by dishes we’ve done before, sandwiches we’ve eaten before, and by the local Pacific Northwest product that we’ve never had access to before,” Alex told Seattle Eater.
According to Seattle Eater, the Pemoulies have signed a lease on the space right next door to Peddler Brewing at 1510 NW Leary Way.
The report confirms that Mean Sandwich is set to open sometime in October.
