The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s PNA Village team is once again seeking volunteers!
Volunteers provide much of the talent and energy behind the PNA Village to help and create a vital network of support for people to age in their own homes.
The Village is hosting a volunteer recruitment Happy Hour on Saturday, January 14, at the Phinney Center Blue Building, Room 1 (6532 Phinney Ave N) from 3 p.m. for people who are interested in volunteering and want to know more.
Potential volunteers will have a chance to hear current Village volunteers and staff talk about what it’s like to provide support that helps people age in their own homes and communities and to learn about the many types of volunteer jobs available.
There will be time for questions and discussion.
As a long time Village volunteer said, “I so enjoy the people I am getting to know, members and volunteers. It has enriched my life. I plan to keep doing this until I join as a member receiving services and have the joy of volunteers visiting me!”
