In this week’s development update is an application to move ahead with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) and King County’s Ship Canal Water Quality Project, which is a 2.7-mile, approximately 14-foot diameter tunnel that will capture and temporarily hold more than 15 million gallons of stormwater mixed with some sewage during heavy rains. Flows will then be sent to the existing West Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Magnolia.
Development updates come from the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.
