Peddler Brewing is celebrating Halloween with a couple special events this weekend, including a scary movie night and a doggie costume contest.
On Friday, Oct. 27, they’ll be screening “Evil Dead” at 8pm. “Come get scared with us in our covered beer garden and try not to spill your pint! Join us to enjoy the campy, gory horror of the 1981 original Evil Dead. Mark your calendar and prep your costume!” Doors open at 4pm, and Cycle Dogs food truck will be on site, with Mean Sandwich next door (or BYO food). The movie will be in their beer garden, and while they have heaters, they recommend people bring coats and blankets to stay warm, plus a camping chair if you have one. Admission is free; RSVP here.
On Sunday, Oct. 29, Peddler will host their “Howl-O-Ween Dog Party”, a dog costume party. To join in on the fun, enter your dog into the contest between 3 and 5pm. All beers purchased between 3 and 6pm will earn you one ballot to vote with, and voting starts at 5pm. Winners will be announced at 6pm, with prizes for the top four dogs. On site will be Mud Bay pet store, Cycle Dog upcycled bike tube pet products, The Seattle Barkery dog treat truck, and the Cycle Dogs food truck. There will be an off-leash area for dogs at the brewery. If you have old bike tubes, be sure to bring them to Cycle Dogs and get 5% off any purchase at the event. RSVP here.
