• Winter Beer Taste: Lots of Ballard beer will be showcased at the 30th anniversary of Phinney’s Winter Beer Taste, Phinney Center, limited tickets available at the door, 7-10 p.m., $10-$60

• Special Olympics Robotics Championship Ballard High School will be one of the participants in this competition at the Pacific Science Center, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
