A car smashed into a pole on 15th Ave. at 9:30 this morning, throwing wires across all lanes of the roadway at Bertona, just to the south of the bridge.
The accident shut down 15th as well as the southbound lanes of the Ballard bridge for over an hour and a half.
The road reopened at 11 a.m. No word on any injuries in the accident.
