Burglars crashed their car through the front door of the Have a Heart marijuana shop on NW 85th St. and 3rd Ave. NW early this morning.
Surveillance video shows a well-coordinated burglary that began at 3:15 a.m. Less than two minutes later, the thieves had made their escape.
With the front door smashed, four burglars quickly exited the car and “stole an undisclosed amount of marijuana before fleeing,” Seattle Police said.
The thieves left in an older model Ford Taurus, which detectives believe was stolen. Officers were unable to locate the suspects, and they’re now working with the business owners — and examining the video — to find additional evidence.
They really should put in better security.
Not sure why they bothered rushing. The cops wouldn’t have arrived any quicker than 20 – 30 minutes.
@Netflix and Chill
They need raises and we all need a whopping tax increase to pay for it. The city runs a soft form of extortion with the crime problem. Pay up, Nimbys, and give up your 2nd Amendment rights! Pathetic.
@Sockpuppet: At least you stopped comparing us to New York City after you were Truth-splained that SPD has about 1/3 less cops and their budget is 1/3 less per capita than NYPD.
But hey, you found some other delirious thing to ramble about…and threw in a completely irrelevant quip about the 2nd amendment!
10/10! You sought mental help yet?
An hour later they smashed into Top Pot Donuts.
Better give them restorative justice.
@Truth
$=/= Effectiveness, efficiency, and outcome
Do you happen to work for a nonprofit? Seattle could (and probably will) multiply its spending five fold and due to its bizarre slavishness to political correctness, its ineffectual leadership, and the culture of graft/corruption here all that extra $$$ would just equate to more overpaid czars and consultants flying to Europe for bathhouse time with foreign officials.
@Sockpuppet: Do you have a source or proof of any of that or is it just more mentally deranged rambling?
You’re not just wrong, Turth, you’re boring and your writing has zero style. I can forgive bad takes and ironic stupidity to shore up the “Seattle Brand” but ya gots no class.
Try talking to the biz owners in Pioneer Square. The city basically runs a protection racket by charging some fee for a “safety team” that doea nothing and now hitting them with a “local improvement district” tax for the waterfront graft project. This is not much different than the “Ballard Alliance” clown show that gives leaf blowers to crackheads at 7 a.m.
Lawsuits have been filed.
@Sockpuppet: Again, do you have any source, any at all? I can find nothing about a lawsuit being filed by any business owners over a safety squad.
So who’s writing style is boring and has zero style? Seek mental help dude, your delirium has reached new heights.
