Back by popular demand, we’re excited to announce another rendition of one of our favorite beer hall events: Scandinavian Drinking Songs!

Snapsvisor, or drinking songs, are an essential part of many festive occasions in the Nordic countries. Together with local snapsvisor experts and enthusiasts Kathi Ploeger and Don Meyers, we invite you to come sing, laugh and learn the history and culture of Nordic drinking traditions as well as various rituals around toasting, types of drinking songs and common themes.

The songs will be accompanied by several sets from local Nordic band, Sprida Ut.

Grab a beer (or aquavit or mead) and learn how to sing a handful of popular “snapsvisor” and Skål (toast/cheers) like a true Scandinavian!
