Indie singer/songwriter Alec Shaw is celebrating the release of his new record ‘Thinking Place’ at The Sunset with Sophia Duccini, and Something Witchy.

Produced by Andy Park (Noah Gunderson, Ciara, Pedro the Lion, Mac Miller), Shaw’s forthcoming record ‘Thinking Place’ is filled with warm brass and playful vocal techniques moving through different melodic spheres while evoking the spirit of traditional Appalachian folk songs. Riding throughout the dramatic opening swells, flowing guitar and piano, and driving synth is Shaw’s dynamic, enchanting voice; at turns ethereal and soaring.
