Now in its 13th year, the Edible Garden Tour has been an inspiration to hundreds of gardeners every summer. Join us for a fun walking or biking tour of 15-20 neighborhood gardens, planting strips, containers, raised beds, chickens, and all sorts of creative edibles from fruit trees to berries to veggies galore. Plan to spend a day walking or biking through Ballard to discover how your neighbors raise food in their own yards. Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions. If you’re new to gardening, we hope that you can join us to see what other gardeners in the neighborhood are doing and get some tips!

The tour includes many gardens to explore within walking distance of each other in Southwest Ballard. The tour is self-guided. Just show your ticket to pick up your tour map at the start point: Sunset Hill Community Club, 3003 NW 66th St.

*Your $15 donation supports Sustainable Ballard’s community projects. Children 10 and under are free (nor registration required). Sustainable Ballard Supporting Members are FREE.

The 13th Edible Garden Tour will be hosted with current state and local COVID precautions. Some gardens may require masking. Some gardens may also prohibit pets.
