Required experience: Participant must have completed at least one small crochet project in the past, even if it was a long time ago (e.g. a scarf, washcloth, hat, etc). Participant must be comfortable crocheting in turned rows and ready to learn how to crochet in the round.

Make your own cute coaster with scalloped edges! This two hour, hands-on workshop will cover all the basic skills you need to know to crochet in the round, including the magic ring, increasing, working half double crochet stitches, and crocheting shell stitches!

By the end of the workshop you will feel confident tackling basic crochet projects that are worked in the round and be able to read a pattern.

Each participant will receive a kit with a crochet hook, tapestry needle, stitch markers, and a surprise color of yarn. I will also provide video instructions for all steps so that you can recreate the project at home, as well as the printed pattern for the coaster.

This in-person class will take place at Monster on April 3rd starting at 6:30 PM. Monster’s address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. Class fee is $60.00.
