Paint along with Maxx FG as you create a monochromatic landscape on canvas with acrylic paint.

If you are looking to boost your acrylic skills or understanding of value (vs color) this class is for you! You’ll use a variety of brushes and palette knives and learn foundations of value to create your own landscape painting.

All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring your own reference photos, but we will also have plenty of options to choose from.

Maxx FG (she/her) was inspired one night while riding along with her in-laws through the New Mexico desert with only the full moon and the car’s headlights to illuminate the landscape. No colors were distinguishable, but the values were so easy to see! When she got back to Seattle, she created this workshop and is bringing it back after 5 years.
