Join us as Icelandic author Hallgrimur Helgason discusses his novel “Woman at 1,000 Degrees” as part of Nordic Seattle’s Nordic Literary Series.
“Woman at 1,000 Degrees” is about a spirited 80-year-old Icelandic woman who reflects on her life as she lies alone in a garage in Reykjavik.
Helgason is an Icelandic artist and author of nine novels, including “101 Reykjavik” and “The Hitman’s Guide to Housecleaning.”
This event is presented in partnership with the Nordic Museum, as part of their Nordic Literary Series, and Ballard’s Secret Garden Bookshop. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
