InnoVentures is an annual pitch competition and fundraiser from Ventures, a nonprofit that helps low-income entrepreneurs start businesses to escape from poverty.

Hear Ventures entrepreneurs pitch small business innovations for a chance to win thousands of dollars to grow their businesses. This is the local event of the year for those who want to help level the playing field for women and people of color in business.

Ventures’ entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and community members like you. Twenty-two applicants compete on the way to the final event, where five entrepreneurs are judged on community need, innovation, feasibility, and presentation. See our mission in action and help move the needle for Ventures and our clients.

Ventures is a Seattle-based nonprofit that empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with limited resources and unlimited potential. We provide access to business training, capital, coaching, and hands-on learning opportunities for entrepreneurs. We serve those in our community for whom traditional business development services are out of reach, with a focus on women, people of color, immigrants, and individuals with low incomes. Our ultimate goal is to support individuals to increase their income potential, achieve long-term financial stability, provide for their families, and enrich their communities through small business ownership.

Heavy appetizers will be provided and 100% of proceeds from beer sales get donated back to Ventures.
