$10 – $12Come for an evening of music and celebrate the release of Lacey Brown’s new EP! Doors at 7pm, music at 8pm. This event is 21+.
Lacey Brown is a Seattle based artist, singer/songwriter, and producer with influences of folk, art pop, and electronica.
Katherine Paterson is a queer indie-folk singer/songwriter based in McKinney, TX. Paterson first began composing songs as gifts for far-flung companions. This evolved into a practice of creating music as a way to navigate life’s myriad moments–especially the more difficult ones. A homing beacon of sorts, Paterson’s music invites you to come find her among past selves, loved ones, grief, dreams, and plants. Her intimate storytelling is a direct result of her admiration for the songwriting craft of luminaries like Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. She has performed at The Bitter End, Deep Ellum Art Company, Mohawk Austin, and more. Her music has been featured on KXT, KOOP, and various blogs. https://www.katherinepatersonmusic.com
Kelsey is a singer-songwriter based in Seattle, WA, originally from Buffalo, NY. Her debut solo EP, “Grocery Store Flowers,” was released in March and features a collection of self-soothing affirmations and meditations on important relationships. Inspired by Elliott Smith, The Weepies, Adrianne Lenker, and Tegan & Sara, Kelsey’s music blends queer joy, mental health struggles, and celebrations of the little things. In addition to her solo work, Kelsey is one-fifth of the 90s alt-inspired rock band Clean Fight, and a voice and piano instructor. She’s a massive fan of her dog, cinnamon rolls, and The Sims franchise.
