Local foraging expert Matthew Houghton will teach you how to spot the six most easily identifiable and delicious mushrooms in western Washington, the best time of year in which to find them and where to locate them. We will examine specific mushroom characteristics, with accompanying pictures as visual aids. We will also discuss what to bring when foraging and how to be low impact to the surrounding environment.
