The single room school bungalow in 1919 in the maritime village of Ballard in 1919 has been transformed into a brilliant, energy-efficient educational institution for over 450 children of our growing community.

Gather with us in a once in a lifetime community moment as we welcome back Loyal Heights Elementary and bring together generations of families that have called Ballard home the past century.

Neighborhood community groups including the Ballard Senior Center, North Precinct Seattle Police Department, Seattle School Board and many other dignitaries will celebrate this wonderful day for Loyal Heights.

Schedule of events:
Ribbon cutting and acknowledgements: 2 pm
Alumni photograph: 3pm
Community welcome booths, kid activities, food trucks and live music: 3:30-6:30
The Big Reveal: School tours for LHE families and public: 3:30-6

Playground will be open from 3-6:30pm. Playground rules apply. 25th Ave NW will be closed. Please walk or park 2 blocks away from school during the event to avoid congestion and keep our children safe.
