Pints & Public Lands Film Fest: An Earth Day Celebration
April 20, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeJoin Washington Wild & The Wilderness Society at Peddler Brewing for a free outdoor Public Lands Film Fest in the covered beer garden to celebrate Earth Day! Public Lands are places we all go to recreate and reconnect with nature. They are the places that protect our ancient, old-growth forests, healthy watersheds and critical wildlife habitat. As many of you are aware, the current administration has launched many attacks on these special landscapes over the past year and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
In this series of seven short films we will be exploring what public lands are and what benefits they provide to the American people. We’ll discuss the threats they are facing, like massive reductions of national monuments, and how we can stand together to protect our public lands, such as protecting the Methow Valley from industrial scale mining.
Peddler Brewing Company will be donating a $1 per pint for the day and will have their charity collaboration beer with Counterbalance Brewing on tap: the Wild & Scenic Hazy IPA celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wild & Scenic River Act benefiting Washington Wild.
