Public meeting on school safety in Seattle schools
July 25, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
FreePublic meeting to discuss and inform parents of Seattle Schools of three conditions which exist in Seattle schools during school hours which make the students vulnerable to being seriously physically injured by an active shooter who enters the school. One of the conditions violate and do not follow a main recommendation of the Report by the Parkland Commission which was created to make recommendations to avoid another mass tragedy that occurred at Marjory Stoneman High School in Florida. The purpose of the meeting will be to convey information to avoid another tragedy here as occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School and Marjory Stoneman High School. Simple relatively cost free solutions to eliminate the conditions and make the schools more safe, will be suggested.
The information will be conducted by Stanley Cohen, a resident of Seattle, married to Arlene, and father, and grandfather of five grandchildren, four of whom attend Seattle Schools. The meeting will be at the Ballard Library Meeting Room, 5614 22nd Ave NW (at the Ballard Library). 5614 22nd Ave NW (at the Ballard Library), Seattle, from 4 p.m. to 4:30 to 5 p.m. This event is not sponsored by The Seattle Public Library.
