Robert Burns – the great Scottish Bard – was a poet, but also a writer of songs. Since 2014 w&ea. has celebrated the song and verse of the Ploughman Poet, hosting Burns Suppers and evening celebrations in his honor.

Since 2014, our events feature performances of Burns favorites such as “Ae Fond Kiss” and “O My Luve’s Like a Red, Red Rose” and culminate in an audience sing-a-long of “Auld Lang Syne”. To add a bit of w&ea. to the event, guests are invited to grab a pint and join us in the singing of traditional drinking songs as we celebrate the Ploughman Poet.
