Experience Maritime! Don’t miss the boat at Seattle’s largest maritime industry celebration!

The Family Fun Day will feature a wide variety of Maritime activities, displays and food trucks. The Experience Maritime activities offer tons of cool hands-on programs including kids boat building, welding, oceanography, emergency signals/flares, emergency environmental response, life raft and boat tours, line tossing, fishing net mending, survival suit races and other family activities. A crowd-pleasing highlight will be the chance for the public to pilot a tugboat at the Academy’s bridge simulator. Enjoy live music by The Not Its; Knut Bell and the Blue Collars and The Knast.

Discover the working waterfront on the Ship Canal, check out Fishermen’s Terminal and learn about the Ballard Locks Centennial on three Free Argosy Ship Canal Tours. Tickets are only available at the Festival. Tours leave at 11:30am; 1pm and 2:30pm.
