Chef Wynne has been a local resident of the Ballard community for 23 years and has 30 years’ experience in the industry before and after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York. He also holds a Masters Degree in Education.
Most recently the former Director of the Art Institute of Seattle Culinary Programs for the past 5 years, as well as a culinary educator at the institute for 16 years training today’s culinarians in restaurant operations. David has worked in the Hamptons, the Hawaiian Islands, China and the Philippines.
Chef Wynne’s industry involvement includes being an active Board member for the ACF Washington Chefs Association, as well as an inducted member of the Chaine des Rotissuers. He can be viewed on KOMO4 Seattle:Refined with his students. He has appeared in multiple demos at the Bite of Seattle, and The Seattle Chocolate Festival.
