This virtual gathering will be hosted in partnership with Christy Keating of The Heartful Parent Collective.
Through this expert-led session, we will focus on the following:
~ Relaying facts about safety
~ Strategies for keeping youth safe
~ How to talk to youth about about scary and/or overwhelming events
~ How to manage anxiety and where to get support if you or your child are victimized
Whether you are a parent, educator, or a concerned individual, this event is designed to equip you with tools to support the safety and well-being of young people in our communities.
** This parent education event is separate from the community safety call referenced in PNW Parent Education’s previous social media posts. PNW Parent Education is in continued communication with the Seattle Police Department and local Council members about setting up a Community Safety Meeting.
