Dish it up! in Ballard suddenly closed its doors yesterday with very little explanation.
When we called the store for more details, the following message played:
“It is with profound sadness and regret that we announce the permanent closing of Dish it up as of April 2nd 2012. The owner is facing overwhelming personal and health challenges and cannot continue the business. To our customers, vendors, chefs and friends, we offer our sincere apologies for your considerable inconvenience. At the same time, we absolutely thank you for 8 great years. Thank you for your patronage.”
A sign on the door and an email with the same message went out to customers. We’ll update with any new information.
